Testing, 1, 2, 3.. Testing...
It's been a long time since I was able to post here. Some type of computer error seems to have been resolved. Not sure quite what, and possibly even how, but suffice it to say the solutions (s) have induced more than one headache.
So I'm back. And I've been riding. Exploring. Putting time in the saddle and wishing I could write about it. Places have been beckoning me. I've had an itch for a larger Vespa. But that itch won't be scratched in the forseeable future. Be thankful for whatcha have, as they say. Always strive for more but be grateful for that which you have.
This year has seen a host of regular maintenance occuring on Kythera. I buggered a few things too along the way. Nothing so bad that it could not be reversed, but as any shade tree "mechanic" (I'm really not worthy of that last word) will tell you, it's the mistakes which tend to teach you how things really work.
I need new riding gloves. My twenty five year old Hein Gericke gauntlets have a worn finger. Right through the leather. Not the stitching, but where your finger pad is. I'm guessing the wear is from decades of brushing the brake/clutch handle. I might repair these, but I've got to see what's out there in the world of modern motorcycle gauntlet gloves.
